Even if this is a unique case because the mobilized man lives in Lipetsk, which isn't far from the border, if mobilized units are deployed too soon and suffer heavy casualties, that will just make the mobilization even more unpopular.

If Russia deploys mobilized units immediately, they will be of minimal value. I think Russia had the choice of holding Kherson on the other side of the Dnipro in the short-term while putting the rest of the front at risk, or retrenching from Kherson.

#Ukraine: More artillery ammo was received by the Ukrainian army - an unexploded HE extended range full-bore 155mm projectile, presumably with base bleed, was found near Russian positions.
When fired from a 52 caliber gun such projectiles can hit targets as far as 43km away.

Though markings are not visible, this projectile (either HE ER FB-BB or HE ER FB-BT with a shorter range) was likely manufactured by the Slovakian company MSM Group 🇸🇰.
Previously, various Slovakian-made projectiles were documented by us in use with the Ukrainian army.
