RT @DarthPutinKGB: We have killed over 100,000 Ukrainian soldiers, lost just 6,000 of our own but we also need another 300,000 troops plus our nukes.

@DefensePolitics USA should’ve gave ATACMS to Ukraine long ago. But didn’t because they believed Russia’s threats and there is an advisor called Jake Sullivan who is scared of Russia.
But you shouldn’t say “you don’t know what you are talking about” instead maybe you could explain your position?

Further thoughts:
There are many depleted Russian units in need of replacements and a refit/recovery period. With an influx of personnel, it might be possible to rebuild at least some of these.
Regaining combat potential will take longer than just filling the rosters though.

However, when it comes to training mobilized personell, this can't be viewed through western eyes.
Training of volunteers have mostly ranged from a week to a month, somewhat longer for the 3rd AC.
Refilling units quickly can also facilitate rotations, as others have noted.

Will the this alter the balance? I think likely not, at least not in the short to medium term, the next 4 - 6 months.
Ukraine is way ahead when it comes to mobilization, currently holds the initiative, and there's the morale issues and effect of high losses on the Russian side.

The Western response to this should be increased support, with no caveats.
Give Ukraine what they say they need, and gear up Western arms industry as required to sustain them, and do it quickly.

The Russian partial mobilization indicates that Moscow indeed are opting for a long war.
Ukraine is ready for this. The West must step up support iot stop Russian aggression on the battlefields of Ukraine.

@T_90_M @GeromanAT It’s not only dependent on Russia. There is a reason Russia has not done a Full mobilization or used WMD. Because if they did China may turn against the war, stronger sanctions would be put, Ukraine would get advanced weapons, and Russian people may not support those escalations.

@T_90_M @GeromanAT The war going on doesn’t benefit China that much the longer it goes on. I think China would support a Full Mobilization by Russia. But there are certain escalations like ones with WMD which might turn China against Russia because having a large war disrupts business for everyone.

As for the nuclear dimension, I still believe little has changed since last week, despite Putins statements today.
Breaking the nuclear taboo is opening Pandora's box, offering minimal gains, but Russia has very much to loose by doing so.

@T_90_M @GeromanAT Weapons of Mass Destruction are not just Nukes, they include Biological and Chemical Weapons.
They could escalate to hitting governmental buildings too.
But if Russia isn’t planning on using Nukes then they should stop threatening to use them daily on their government run news.
