Given these factors, the mortar bombs seen on the video were previously captured by the Russian army from Ukrainian troops but were never used since then due to the absence of 60mm mortars.
And only now they returned to their original owners.

I'd go as far to say that claims certain weapons (e.g. tanks) were obsolete because of the fighting in Feb-March, was disproven last week when Ukraine employed them correctly. Which is why we should wait until the war is over to make strong conclusions.
