Potential nuclear use now has reentered the discourse.
With increasing pressure Russia becomes more unpredictable, so nothing can be ruled out, but I still find nuclear escalation unlikely, as of now.
Russia has little to gain, but much to loose, if they break the nuclear taboo

I disagree with Rose that Russian nuclear use is likely - it is not - but it would be worthwhile to continue to send subtle but clear deterrence messages (like Bomber Task Force) and say directly and privately to Putin that the US/NATO would engage if Russia goes nuclear. https://t.co/dryhSWYyRn

@RealDustinM1 Those who have followed Russia closely over time knows that the nuclear dimension is always present.
In the public debate however, at least here in Norway, it often quickly fades into the background, hence my phrasing.
