Senior Sergeant Nikita Maltsev commanded a command-staff vehicle, presumably in a VDV unit. He was killed by artillery fire in Ukraine on July 30.

LPR have particular problems. Interesting details here on the quality and moral of the dregs now being press-ganged and of course the lack of equipment and even basic supplies.

Telegram post about the bizarre scene in Kharkiv on Feb 27 when a column from the GRU/GU's 2nd Spetsnaz Brigade drove into the city. It confirms they weren't given clear orders and up to 20 members were killed fighting in a school where they retreated to.
