We assumed that at the time of the explosion a Belarusian brigade could have been working on the locomotive.
As a result, this information was confirmed by several sources. Gomel brigade of the depot TCh–8 actually worked on the locomotive.

It’s reported that they were slightly cut with shards.
In addition, a video appeared in telegram channels, where a conversation over the radio between the driver and the station operator could be heard. The driver was mentioned by the surname Girinov.
