The website of the project “Military- political review” published information that it’s planned to purchase heavy flamethrower systems TOS-1A Solntsepyok in the interests of the Armed Forces of Belarus.

It’s noted that TOS systems are not currently in service of the Belarusian Armed Forces. The Radiation, Chemical and Biological defense forces have only Soviet-made RPO-A Shmel infantry flamethrowers.

It is planned to deploy radio, chemical and biological defence battalions for the use of TOS at each operation command (Western, Northwestern, and forming Southern), and one company of each battalion will be armed with 3 TOS-1A Solntsepyok.

It’s also planned to establish Belarusian-Russian production of heavy flamethrower systems TOS-2 Tosochka.
