Belarusian banks have begun to impose restrictions on foreign currency withdrawals by foreign citizens according to the decision of the National Bank of Belarus.

It is known that last week the National Bank held a meeting at which the banks were told to set the commission for cash withdrawals from bank accounts for non-residents at a minimum of 15%.

The ultimate goal is to limit the possibility of making currency exchange transactions by Russians and to prevent taking foreign currency out of Belarus.
Obviously, the National Bank doesn’t want to associate itself with this decision, so there are no official documents.

But the reasons are quite weighty. In recent months, Russians began to travel to Belarus and buy dollars (and euros), making money on the exchange rate difference. Now the National Bank is trying to literally stop the outflow of currency from the country.

“There is such a currency scheme in Russia: to buy dollars for rubles, transfer them to your foreign account, cash them out in a foreign bank, bring USD cash back to Russia, sell them at a higher price,” our sources say.

#Ukraine: The Ukrainian special unit "Kraken" showed how they reuse military aid from Russia- damaged vehicles, including MT-LBVM, trucks, BMD-2 and BM-21 Grad, are currently being repaired. Destroyed vehicles don't go to waste and used as donors of spare parts and heavy weapons.
