Russian forces have reached central Severodonetsk by the Goodzone gym and City Concert Hall. It may make sense for Ukrainian forces to fall back to Lysychansk and defend the western bank of the Siverskyi Donets River.

The possible reason is that since the retreat of the Russian Armed Forces from the north of Ukraine, they have been demining the border areas (forests and rivers) of Gomel region every day for two months.
