RT @Denys_Shmyhal: 🇺🇦🇪🇺 Ukraine welcomes the adoption by the European Parliament of the Regulation establishing the European Defence Industry Programme (EDIP).

EDIP strengthens Europe’s defence technological and industrial base and opens the way for the integration of Ukraine’s defence industry into the EU’s defence ecosystem.

The programme includes the creation of the Ukraine Support Instrument (USI), with €300 million allocated to it. EDIP also enables procurement of defence equipment in Ukraine, with Ukraine, and for Ukraine.

This is another decisive step toward a stronger and more secure Europe.

🇺🇦🇪🇺 Україна вітає ухвалення Європейським парламентом Регламенту, яким створюється Програма європейської оборонної промисловості (EDIP).

EDIP посилює оборонно-технологічну та промислову базу ЄС та відкриває шлях для інтеграції оборонної промисловості України до оборонно-промислового комплексу Європейського Союзу.

У межах програми створюється Інструмент підтримки України (USI) з обсягом фінансування 300 млн євро. Крім того, EDIP уможливлює закупівлі оборонного обладнання в Україні, з Україною та для України.

Це рішення — ще один рішучий крок до сильної та безпечної Європи.
Вдячний депутатам Європейського парламенту та Президентці @RobertaMetsola, а також @KubiliusA за їхню незмінну підтримку України.

#Syria: Massive explosions occurred at an ammunition depot located in the settlement of Kafar Takharim, Idlib Governorate, northwestern Syria.

Ammunition detonation caused devastation in the surrounding areas. Casualties were also reported.
