UAS are playing a critical role, but the last two months have demonstrated the limitations of relying too heavily on drones. Fog and bad weather has made it much more difficult for Ukrainian brigades without sufficient infantry to hold back Russian infiltration groups. UAS still cannot replace infantry, artillery, and other components of combined arms.

Ukraine's 7th Rapid Response Corps says that Russia has committed elements from the VDV's 76th Air Assault Division in its direction. The 76th Air Assault Division was transferred from the operational reserve of Group of Forces Dnepr in Zaporizhzhia oblast to Group of Forces Center.
