Russian forces started employing Yak-52 piston trainer aircraft and other light planes to combat Ukrainian drones.

In Yak-52, behind the pilot, there's a gunner carrying an automatic rifle. Other planes can be seen armed with two Kord 12,7mm machine guns, installed under the belly.
