RT @Jeff21461: 🇩🇪🇺🇦 According to the Forces Operations Blog, Germany has contracted Thales Belgium to supply 3.000 guided and 30.000 unguided 70mm rockets to Ukraine. Additionally, 10 Ukrainian MI-8 helicopters have already been retrofitted to use these rockets.

At the same time, Thales Belgium is working to increase its production capacity, with guided rocket capacity having increased from 700 in 2024 to 3.500 in 2025 and is planned to further increase to 10.000 in 2026.

For its unguided rocket production, the firm is looking into potentially doubling its yearly production capacity from the current 30.000 to potentially as much as 60.000.

Lastly, a new facility will be opened in Ukraine in collaboration with an unnamed Ukrainian partner. The facility is expected to start work in 2026 and will initially operate at a capacity of 5.000 rockets per year.
