1st was among 5 on buggies. Only 2 made it, the rest KIA, his comrade WIA.
2nd spent 26 yrs in jail. Signed up to avoid a new sentence.

🇺🇸 Interesting scoop from Reuters:
The DoD is now considering the midwest as the location of a third Ground Based Midcourse Defense site, instead of the previously selected Fort Drum in upstate NY.
This is according to a map presented to industry at the SMD Symposium.
Alternative locations that Fort Drum had beaten were Fort Custer in Michigan and Camp Garfield in Ohio.
Whether a third GMD site is even necessary has been a point of contention in Washington, but if Golden Dome is to be realized then additional sites for Lockheed's new Next Generation Interceptors will definitely be needed.

The Trump-Putin summit on Friday will take place at the Joint Base Elmendorf–Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska, two White House officials told CNN.
Elmendorf–Richardson hosts the headquarters of the Alaskan Command and 11th Airborne Division. It's also a home-base of the 3rd Wing of the U.S. Air Force (operating F-22s).
