@Dennis_Gregorio @deaidua: To be clear, Fire Unit is the exact terminology used by the US Government & the manufacturer to describe the collection of individual components needed for the system to operate (Launching Station, Radar Set, Engagement Control Center, etc). Battery is an organizational term that may mean different things to different operators (the US Army and all others that I am aware of have a single Fire Unit in a single battery).

When will the gig be up, and when will the turning point happen? Because no action has been taken by the US to aid Ukraine or stop Russia militarily. Wasn’t there supposed to be massive US arms shipments worth $10 billion?

Ukraine 🇺🇦 has up to ~20 ATACMS missiles remaining that it could use against key Russian targets, up to 300km away
The US 🇺🇸 restricts Ukraine from using those ATACMS and has yet to send a single ATACMS missile to Ukraine since Trump took office. The US has +2000 ATACMS

Aside from ATACMS, the US has over 11,000 non-nuclear cruise missiles with a similar and further range than ATACMS. So, sending Ukraine a couple of hundred ATACMS won’t hurt the US; it will only hurt Russia

The US sent Ukraine 200 to 300 of its oldest ATACMS. Ukraine was very successful striking over 100 targets. But the US hasn’t sent any since 2024
