A couple of other details about this program. One of the goals was to improve data collection so that leaders in Kyiv could determine which strike UAS units were most effective and efficient and should be scaled. This is how they chose to promote Magyar, Achilles, Rarog, Phoenix, and K-2 into a brigade and regiments as part of the Drone Line initiative. The scoring system incentivized units to share *verified* data about their monthly results, improving senior leaders' decision-making. https://twitter.com/Mylovanov/status/1917901149937488257#m

The online catalog will help small producers sell products, and will promote the most effective UAVs by letting units choose. It is a means of improving the procurement system and rewarding the best UAV producers. It will also likely improve innovation by improving the links between UAV units and manufacturers.

The overall goal of the Drone Line and Epoints systems is to stop Russian advances on the frontline by using scarce resources most efficiently. Russia has more soldiers and they continue to recruit 30,000 or more per month. Ukraine has to compensate by being more innovative and efficient.

In general, the Ministry of Digital Transformation is trying to implement private sector practices into defense procurement and military affairs to improve incentives, and I think many of these initiatives are worth studying for NATO governments.
