US had ~2,350 ATACMS at the start of the war, up until the moment they sent them to Ukraine in October 2023. US does not have a long range missile shortage at all. The US has ~13,800 long range missiles, not including the ~1,330 nuclear equipped missiles. More long range missiles than any country in the World, more than China and Russia combined. Europe has ~3,000 non-nuclear long range missiles, 4x less than the US

The only thing that would happen would be a temporary 7% decrease in the stockpile and a push for increased production of long-range missiles for the future

Russia would not be able to produce most of its Shaheds, glide bombs, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles for over a year
