If a decision is made to deploy a coalition of the willing force, one must also be prepared for a nuclear crisis.
A real one this time, not like the nuclear jitters some have experienced earlier in the war.

Macron and the French might be ready for such a possibility, looking back at March 2022.
However, the real challenge would be managing public fears, across the continent.
This requires preparations and a plan.

🇺🇸🇯🇵🚀 Golden Dome News:
Last week, the Missile Defense Agency released a RFI to determine industry interest and capability to produce SM-3 Block IIA All-Up Rounds.
With current facilitization for just 24 missiles per year, MDA may be seeking a second production line from another prime contractor in advance of a possible funding increase from Congress to support President Trump's Golden Dome EO.
The current prime contractor is Raytheon, with MHI in Japan responsible for certain components.
SM-3 Block IIA, a sophisticated exoatmospheric ballistic missile interceptor, is averaging a unit cost of ~$29 million.

Once again, a thread with thoughts around the unpleasant, uncomfortable and perhaps unpopular side of the possible coalition of the willing deployment to Ukraine, which is notably absent from the public discussions.
Again, I don't say what's being discussed isn't worth doing.

Perhaps it's just me, but to do something like this coalition of the willing discussion entails, one must be prepared to fight Russia, go to war, if it comes down to it.
We haven't heard much about that aspect so far.
Maybe because it would make it hard…

RT @pegge49: Just to confirm the Severomorsk did indeed join up with the returning M/V's. The destroyer is currently approaching the Dover Straits eastbound with Sparta IV, Siyannie Severa and LST Alexander Shabalin. With an RN T23 frigate (Somerset?) and a MN Flamant Class OPV as shadows. https://twitter.com/Drox_Maritime/status/1901529562808271322#m

RT @donaldtusk: Dear allies, the investigation of the Lithuanian prosecutor’s office has confirmed our suspicions that responsible for setting fires to shopping centres in Vilnius and Warsaw are the Russian secret services. Good to know before negotiations. Such is the nature of this state.
