If the funds had been approved in mid-January, around 60% of the package could have been delivered to Ukraine within 2025. Now that two months have passed, the percentage will certainly have decreased. Of course, I can't say how much because, with a few exceptions, it is not known what is included in this package.

However, as far as I am aware, the deliveries are to stretch until 2027 anyway. That being said, I would like to point out once again that this is not the only military assistance that Germany will be providing to Ukraine this year. The draft budget already included €4 billion in military assistance.

These have already been fully tied up in contracts. Just looking at assistance which will strengthen Ukraine's air defence, three IRIS-T SLM fire units, six IRIS-T SLS launchers and two...

I keep being told by MAGA enthusiasts here that Canada is responsible for the row because of its dairy duties.

In fact, the value of US dairy exports to Canada is more than three times the reverse, there are more cows in Wisconsin alone than in all Canada and, in any case the tariffs have not been triggered, because US exporters have not exceeded the tariff-free quota they are granted under the terms of the USMCA.
