If Russia gets away with invading Ukraine and war crimes like they are for the 2nd time and will get sanctions removed, then China will very likely invade Taiwan

Taiwan isn’t a different matter; it’s the same and a more serious matter. Taiwan is a sovereign country that would be invaded by one of our enemies. Ukraine is important to the stability of Europe’s economy, which is also a big part of the US economy and the stability of NATO, and it is in the USA’s national security interest for Russia not to take over the largest country in Europe.

People are uninformed about Ukraine in several ways. First, the US did not spend “hundreds of billions of dollars” on Ukraine. Since February 24, 2022, the US has delivered weapons and economic aid totaling $87.5 to $102 billion to Ukraine.

Many do not understand that the majority of the money spent on Ukraine was spent in America, which did the opposite of depleting US weapons stocks for the vast majority of weapons the US sent. Temporarily, certain stocks were depleted, like shells, but this forced the US to increase its production to be ready for war when and if it comes.

Most of the military aid sent to Ukraine did not deplete stockpiles. Instead, it sent decades-old equipment that was never going to be used and was initially built to be used against Russia. The US used money approved by Congress to buy itself new and better military equipment.

The funding built factories, drastically increased military production, strengthened the US economy, funded tens of thousands of US jobs, significantly weakened the USA’s 2nd largest threat in the world after China, and protected Europe by just spending ~0.1% of USA’s yearly GDP per year, so let’s not inflate this and make it seem like it was a significant part of US spending when it wasn’t even close. It was the most effective use of foreign aid to a country since WW3 and prevented a much larger war in Europe.

Sending Ukraine primarily military aid is not a liability. In fact, it would be a massive liability to stop sending military aid and becoming friends with Russia, whose only goal is to expand its territory and start wars in Europe. Russia will use that leverage given to it to rebuild its military and economy and invade Ukraine for a 3rd time.

If anyone thinks that Russia will suddenly stop its aggression now by being let off the hook, like they currently are by the US, then they are badly mistaken and do not know Russian history, even in the past three decades under Putin’s rule and before.

If Russia is allowed to keep all the territory it occupied in Ukraine, receive no consequences for its war crimes and the destruction it caused to a large part of Ukraine’s towns, cities, and infrastructure, and have a rest in relations with the US. Then Russia will feel that, in the end, they were allowed to get away with their brutal full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russia will invade Ukraine again years later, and China will see it as a signal to invade Taiwan in the future

@NOELreports: Security guarantees are useless when they are vague and do not include:

1. Joining NATO (for +$350 billion which no country other than US contributed)
2. Having US troops or US bases
3. Getting a consistent, increasing, and defined amount of aid, including long-range missiles

🇷🇴Romanian media reports that the pro-Russian former presidential candidate of Romania, Georgescu, was detained: his car was stopped on the road. He was then sent for questioning to the Prosecutor General's Office.

Marin Burcea, Călin Georgescu's bodyguard, was also picked up by the police and taken for questioning.

They aren’t bogged down. Where do you get your news or propaganda from?

That bogged US stocks needed for China down more than Ukraine ever did.

Що було: протезування стінки орбіти ока - невдале, в Харківському шпиталі. Потім, витягли старий імплант поставили новий якісний в Киівській обласній лікарні (щелепно-лицева хірургія), але перестав остаточно працювати нижній мяз і око укатилось в стратосферу. Були навіть думки, щоб його просто прибрали в той час.

І ось третя операція багато надій, але очі разом прямо не запрацювали. Набута косоокість і як результат постійне двоїння. До цього я просто затуляв не працююче око повязкою. Із мінусів сліпа зона з права (люди та речі виникали з пустоти та перестав розрізняти обличчя). Поки я коммандував ротою - це було не смертельно.

В подальшому, як вирішив повернутись на поле в штурмовий підрозділ, з тіла треба було вижимати по максимуму і я мав врішувати проблему сліпої зони. Перше до чого я прийшов, що очі це сенсори, а якщо в тебе якийсь сенсор працює не відповідно то треба знайти...
