/2. Russian sources: «There are reports from military personnel about multiple cases of volunteers delivering mined FPV goggles "Skyzone" model "Cobra".
The goggles contain improvised explosive devices (IED) with 10-15 grams of plastic explosive. Detonation occurs when the goggles are turned on. The explosion causes instant death of the operator. All boxes are packed, but have subtle signs of being opened.»

Compared to IRIS-T SLM, these launchers operate with cheaper and less powerful IRIS-T missiles which makes them more suitable for engaging UAVs (regarding cost efficiency).
In Ukraine, these launches are integrated into the German-delivered IRIS-T SLM fire units (6 delivered / 6 pledged).
