RT @ColbyBadhwar: 🇺🇸☎️🇷🇺 General Gerasimov, Chief of Russia's General Staff, called General Brown, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff last week.
“at the request of General Gerasimov, General Brown agreed to not proactively announce the [very rare] call.”
Interestingly, Gerasimov told Brown that the Oreshnik IRBM strike on Ukraine was planned long before President Biden authorized limited ATACMS strikes on internationally recognized Russian territory.
Not sure what the motivation for conveying that claim would be.

@MajorTomII1: No its much worse for SAA there I think. I don't even want to start counting there yet as it may be such a long job. I am reliably informed that there are about 40 losses along that road shown in a nearly 4 minute video. I will focus on Hama for now.

@cym27s: What’s the point of using Kalibrs if they can fly over and bomb it? Unless air defense is a serious threat to Russian planes, just air dropped bombs or other air dropped missiles would be more effective.

@Maks_NAFO_FELLA: They were never seeking a victory for Ukraine. Never once in the war was that a goal of US and Europe. It was always to drag out the war as long as possible with no clear goal of winning because they were scared of the mythical escalation.
A ceasefire at this time will:
1. Give Russia the occupied-land as a gift with no consequences for Russia
2. Not allow Ukraine to be in NATO or have security in the future
3. Allow Russia to strengthen its economy, build up its military, and inevitably invade Ukraine again within the next 5 years
A ceasefire now is a temporary peace, and not a solution to the largest threat to Europe, which is Russia who will not be stopping its aggression against Europe or Ukraine. If it wasn’t obvious by now since at least 2008.
