@TroelsHalken: Joining EU would be the right thing to do now but I don't believe in a EU military and I think it would likely be a waste of resources. Europe is just too fragmented, political will is missing in many capitals and NATO still exists in it's current form.
The foundation for strengthening our security is increased national defense and total defense capabilities. The alternative to NATO is then coalitions of like-minded countries, such as JEF.
For a rapid European defense buildup we will still need the US and the US defense industry, so we mustn't burn the bridges to the Trump admin on a whim.

Want to add that for a rapid European rearmament, like it or not, we need the US and the US defense industry.
Also, the building block here is increased national defense capability, initiated at home. Not some "EU Army" or waiting for Paris, Berlin or anyone else to take charge

🇺🇦Бійці 47 окремої механізованої бригади взяли в полон російського виродка з 155 бригади морської піхоти тихоокеанського флоту на території Курщини. За його словами – він був свідком страти воїнів Сил оборони.
Наприкінці вересня в районі населеного пункту Глушкове став свідком вбивства двох українських військовополонених. За його словами, наказ про страту і подальше відтинання від тіл голів віддав командир підрозділу.
