Ukrainian brigades are trying to recruit soldiers who have gone AWOL from their units. In some cases, this happens because soldiers are not allowed to transfer between units.

🇺🇸🇨🇭 General Dynamics Land Systems is one of 5 companies that received an Other Transactional Authority contract from the US Army for their Self-Propelled Howitzer Performance Demonstration.
GDLS will be demonstrating the Piranha IV AGM.
The US Army's Stryker is a development of the Canadian LAV III, which itself is a development of the Piranha III. So these are all the same family of vehicles. If GDLS wins I suspect they will primarily produce the vehicles out of their Anniston, AL facility, and perhaps London, ON too. https://twitter.com/Jeff21461/status/1853743995815354477#m
