🇺🇦 Ukraine is now domestically producing "millions" of mortar rounds per year, @HermanSmetanin tells Reuters.

They have capacity to produce even more, but are being stymied by the global shortage of explosive filler and propellant material.

Pre-war, Ukraine had domestic production of TNT at the Zarya plant in Rubizhne, but that is now out of commission and occupied by the Russians. So they are forced to import explosive filler like most other countries.
