RT @deaidua: According to BILD, the 12 PzH 2000 recently pledged to #Ukraine are available thanks to a deal between Germany and Qatar. Germany has apparently authorised the export of RCH 155 howitzers to Qatar, which in return will hand over 12 of its 24 PzH 2000 to the German industry, from where they will be refurbished and delivered to Ukraine.

Thanks to the German MoD we already know that they are paying about €150 million for the delivery of these 12 PzH 2000 while the total export volume to Qatar in the first half of 2024 was about €100 million, of which “just” the majority was this RCH 155 for PzH 2000 deal. So now you can guess how much money the German industry gets via this deal.

This deal between Germany and Qatar to support Ukraine is actually not the first of its kind. Germany has already made deals with countries in this region in the pa...

RT @FRHoffmann1: My first newsletter post is live!

In it, I present a theoretically sound and empirically-backed argument for why Ukraine should be enabled to conduct a comprehensive deep-strike campaign.

RT @CovertShores: ***BREAKING***

GPS Jamming off #Russian naval base at Novorossiysk visible in AIS transmissions from ships. The jamming is centered in the vicinity of Russian marker buoy number 133.

Jamming GPS can be dangerous for civilian shipping. And in this case Russia appears to be using navigational markers to mount these jammers. #OSINT

RT @NORADCommand: The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) detected and tracked two Russian IL-38 military aircraft operating in the Alaska Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) on Sept. 14,

The Russian aircraft remained in international airspace and did not enter American or Canadian sovereign airspace. This Russian activity in the Alaska ADIZ occurs regularly and is not seen as a threat.

RT @InsiderGeo: The risk of Ukraine losing the war this winter has prompted Washington and London to review Kyiv's use of Western long-range missiles. But the US, as before, is afraid of escalation. And at this time, Ukrainian nuclear power plants are in increasing danger — POLITICO.

For now, Washington does not appear ready to fully lift the ban and allow Ukraine to target US long-range missiles at Russian airfields — although it may lift restrictions on Britain's Storm Shadow, which uses US technology.

"I would like to see a more forthright position from the Biden administration that would say there is no reason why Ukraine should not fight back. It is Russia that is attacking Ukraine from all these facilities all over Russia. There is no reason why there should be was safe. But I don't think we will see Biden authorizing the use of American missiles to strike Russian airfields, although the British...

RT @Jeff21461: Time to unpack this false information.

1. Wrong flag :)

2. Latvia does not even own 123 FV107 Scimitar. The country recieved 50 as part of their 2014 order and an additional 40 with the 2019 order for a total of 90 units.

3. The Wikipedia listing that this tweet likely copied is incorrect as it mistakes the complete 2014 CVR(T) order of 123 units which included other models like FV103, 104, 105, 106 and 7 training vehicles as only containing FV107's.

4. The Pledge Latvia made was for a "Company sized donation of CVR(T) Armoured Personnel carriers". Companies contain between 9 and 12 APC, not 123. A follow up article posted today again that "the specific number of machines to be transferred was not disclosed by AM".

5. NO SOURCE WAS LISTED. This is perhaps the clearest indication that the claims made in the post are false. OP either stole this from somewhere else without double che...

RT @BBS3AB: Scattered the Russians into pieces: video from the Kharkiv forests!

A series of strikes with fatal efficiency from the fighters of the Third Assault Brigade. They flew in with drones, adjusted our units’ fire from the sky, and disposed of another batch of Russian scum.

From the explosion of shells, they were blown apart into all the bushes. The last minutes of the invaders’ lives and their faces a moment before impact are captured in epic footage.

All filmed by the pilots of the brigade’s Unmanned Systems Battalion!
