@deaidua: The Telegraph doesn't say anything about Scholz. I made that point that both Biden & Scholz have the same worldview on the risks of escalation to World War Three, and do not deliver long-range cruise missiles for that reason. If Germany was willing to provide TAURUS it would make Biden's position even less tenable.

🇺🇲🇮🇱 The US State Department has approved a possible Foreign Military Sale to Israel of M1000 Heavy Duty Tank Trailers, plus associated equipment and services for an estimated cost of $164.6 million.
The prime contractor would be Leonardo DRS and deliveries are estimated to begin in
"The description and dollar value are for the highest estimated quantity and dollar value based on initial requirements. Actual dollar value will be lower depending on final requirements, budget authority, and signed sales agreement(s), if and when concluded."

We are now into year 3 of the war and many of those still held including my friends will not make it to year 4, because of Russian atrocities and their systemic torture policy.
The 21st of September 2022 I was exchanged but didn’t make it back to the UK until the 22nd, which was also the day Larysa and myself were married in Mariupol, and this year will mark our 4th anniversary. Obviously it will be a day of mixed emotions as many, over 60% of the men who attended my wedding have now been captured, injured or killed in this bloody war.
Keep in mind those still in captivity and never give up support for Ukraine, because we are paying an epic price for our democracy & freedom🇺🇦🙏

To present evidence, the timing of Aya slowing down and turning west is almost an exact match to the Tu-22M and missile launch report by @war_monitor_ua.
Their reporting on Russian strikes is as good as it gets in the open source domain.

@rockfish31: The engine cuts off when the missile begins it's terminal dive. Until then it's burning, and I think they fire at somewhere between half to 3/4 of maximum range.

Maybe I'm being too sceptical but that's how I operate. If I feel something might be off and not as clear cut as it might seem initially, I voice my concerns.
This is an event that potentially has a significant impact and Romanian or other Western statements are still missing.
