Off the top of my head.
I didn't meet or know him but I knew part of him. Constantly reading his tweets comments and of-line messages in chat groups, that part I feel I knew.
He was angry at Syrian civilians being deliberately and repeatedly bombed and gassed - also in Ukraine, Palestine, all civilians. At first responders and hospitals being deliberately targeted.
He was angry at the dictators; Assad and Putin etc and other forces that did this - and angry at the scum on twitter that celebrated this ("barbecue parties" we remember who you are) - angry on and the 'left' and 'right' forces in western countries that justified or obscured this. Angry at democracies that said they cared but did little or nothing.
He put this anger into words and irony better than I or most others could. He tried to mobilise awareness and support against all this and help Syrians and Ukrainians and showed an early example of what can be done on twitter.
And as he had fought in Iraq and had studied the languages and cultures of the Middle East he had brought that unique perspective. I remember his long rant/threads on small unit tactics interspaced with expletives etc.
I saw his openness in his tweets about his his family, his problems, but also everyday life and celebrating every journey, every new experience, every new meeting, every new meal. He seemed to wear his heart on his sleeve and love life.
And in all that he was a blast - He cared, he loved and he was fucking funny and then more - where did that all come from?
I didn't know him under his real name so I won't use it here, but I feel I knew him.
And so he will be remembered.

@The_Lookout_N I know lol
The Russians launched 4 x-22 missiles between Zmeiny Island and the coast of the Odessa region. The first two reached the coastline. The second two disappeared over the sea before reaching Zmeiny Island
I don’t dare say what happened…

Norway has done a lot for Ukraine, for which our government deserves commendation.
But, there's a gap between some of the rhetoric, Ukrainian needs and actual commitments.
We have the financial muscles to correct this, if we find the political will and a bit of courage. https://twitter.com/EspenBarthEide/status/1827297859969990884#m

Caution: Lots of speculation around the 'Palianytsia' (also being romanized Palyanitsia) 'missile drone'. People are posting various images, some drawn by me, to illustrate it. As far as I am aware however, the drone is not yet public.
