RT @nexta_tv: Russian troops have built a second pontoon crossing over the Seim River in Kursk Region east of the village of Zvannoye
It can be seen on the satellite image taken on August 17 (exact coordinates). Earlier it was reported about the same crossing built east of Glushkovo village. The Russian Army began constructing these crossings after Ukrainian strikes on bridges in the area. They may be designed to provide the Russian military with escape routes in case the Ukrainian offensive is successful.

3. 810th Naval Infantry Brigade POWs captured in Kursk Obl.
Follow-up on the Company CO POW in tweet 2. Earlier🇺🇦225th Assault Batt claimed most of his company had be eliminated, with remnants fleeing across a field under fire.
They later provided this film in which they state this company's officer was captured. 16 RuAF flee, although any casualties are not visible. A village is named but it seems it has been deliberately distorted.

@louis_essig @Jeff21461: Khorne Group are indeed there, plus perhaps an enginnering component from that Brigade, but the rest of the 116th appears to remain on the Kupyansk front. The original tweet in my opinion would read better if it included 'Elements of the following units'....

I already ranted about this bridge in private for a bit before I posted this.. Just as many of you, I also find the location odd.

RT @wartranslated: Fighters of the 82nd Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces shared the details of the first hours of the Kursk operation.
Incredibly, they covered a huge distance in such a short time on the Russian territory, shocking the Russians.
After overcoming mine and explosive barriers, the first assault groups of the Air Assault Forces and other units of the Defense Forces entered under the cover of tanks.

RT @deaidua: So... as promised, I will now give a first update on the situation of German military aid to Ukraine (and on the report that an available IRIS-T SLM was allegedly not delivered).
Right up front: there are still unanswered questions.
At the today’s government press conference, it was confirmed once again that Germany wants to finance its aid to Ukraine from 2025 through the G7 loan of $50 billion agreed in June — in other words, then from Ukraine's federal budget.
“The plan is to be able to access these funds for financing in 2025. These would then be channelled directly through Ukraine's budget, through direct procurement from Ukraine.”
It was also revealed that the requested increase in Ukraine aid by €3.8 billion for 2024 is off the table — meaning there will be no additional funds for the time being.
The only positive info: The report about Germany not financing the allegedly avail...

🇺🇸🇺🇦 Pennsylvania is already the 2nd largest recipient of replacement & USAI dollars, and stands to gain the largest share of that $6 billion, as Bradley, AMPV & Paladin FoV are all made at BAE's York facility.
Subcontractors are of course spread across the entire country; this map only reflects prime contract awards. Michigan for example is a major subcomponent supplier for PEO GCS' portfolio. https://twitter.com/ColbyBadhwar/status/1825545441208922473#m
