I remain sceptical about the claims concerning the Rostov na Donu.
No hard evidence has yet emerged.

Don't think she was sunk. That Rostov na Donu sustained some additional damage may have happened but the extent of that possible damage is unknown.

Military activity in Belarus in July 2024. Briefly

• At least 9 Shahed drones flew into Belarus, one of them fell in Homiel region;

• In July, the so-called “combat readiness inspection” was completed and the Belarusian-Chinese “Attacking Falcon-2024” anti-terrorist training took place;

• The intensity of movements of the Belarusian Armed Forces by rail and flights of the Belarusian Air Force increased 1.5-2 times;

• The number of the Russian Armed Forces in Belarus decreased due to the return of the contingent that participated in the parade on July 3 back to Russia;

• The number of the aviation group of the Russian Aerospace Forces in Belarus also decreased after the return of aircraft and helicopters back to Russia;

• Up to 100 mercenaries of PMC Wagner stay in Belarus, they continue to train the Lukashenka regime’s security forces.

This is the first in a series of posts about the key military events of July in Belarus.

RT @Hajun_BY: At least 9 Shahed drones flew into Belarus in July: one of them exploded, another one disappeared

In July, Russian UAVs of the Shahed-131/136 type, which were launched during missile attacks against Ukraine, repeatedly flew into the airspace of Belarus.

A total of 9 Shahed-136/131 drones flew into Belarus from July 11 to July 31, of which:
• 1 exploded and fell in Belarus;
• 7 flew to the territory of Ukraine;
• the fate of 1 is unknown.

According to our data, 7 out of 9 drones returned to the territory of Ukraine, while others flew deep into the country. For example, Shahed No. 2, which flew into Belarus on the night of July 13, flew more than 350 km in the airspace of Belarus up to Vitsiebsk and then disappeared. What happened to it further and where it is is unknown. Another Shahed, the 4th, flew over 400 km over Belarus on July 16 and exploded, falling in Aktsiabrski district of Homiel region.

Despite the mass and regular flights of UAVs into the airspace of Belarus, there were practically no comments by the state bodies of Belarus on this issue in July. In fact, the only reaction from the state authorities was an indirect confirmation of the Shahed-136/131 flight in Mahiliou region on July 16 by the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

However, despite the lack of official reaction from the officials of the Lukashenka regime, the military of the Belarusian Armed Forces began to take preventive measures to neutralize the threat. For example, Su-30SM fighters began to regularly fly to the south of Belarus during missile attacks against Ukraine, and helicopters were relocated to Babruisk airfield, reducing the flight time to the border with Ukraine to intercept UAVs flying into Belarus.
