Footage of an ambush by Chechen volunteers fighting on the Ukrainian side on Russian soldiers in a forest.
Multiple Russian servicemen were killed, while at least one was taken prisoner, during this engagement.
The fighters from the Separate Special Purpose Battalion of the Ministry of Defense of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria can be seen carrying Western-made weapons, such as FN SCAR-L rifles and FN MINIMI machine gun, as well as AK-series rifles.

The US Department of Defense has awarded Raytheon a $325 million contract modification for GBU-53/B StormBreaker (Small Diameter Bomb II) lifecycle support. The cumulative face value of the contract is now $600 million. The previous modification was $75 million in May 2022, with the initial $200 million award in Oct 2019.
