Here is one of several analyses I have done at the end; it’s not even half the reasons why Biden should stay in. Trump wants Biden to drop out so that a lesser-known or less popular person will be put in without time to campaign. Immediately, they will be accused of being far left or farther left, which they will likely be. Trump will not give them a debate to not raise their popularity or have time to start a proper campaign that takes years to do. They will have a disaster for a month trying to pick a nominee with only a couple of weeks to start some sort of campaign; by then, it will be election time, and Trump will win.

Russia wants this too, and the US has already stated that Russia plans to interfere in these US elections more than any of the last ones, and it looks like they are doing it very effectively. Regular Americans would vote for Trump over Biden. Still, they will be less likely to vote for someone else who is unknown, less popular or known by Americans, unelected, less experienced, with no developed messaging or plan, and likely more radical left-leaning than Biden just because they are younger. It takes months and years for people to make up their minds; the Democrats can’t put in a person of their choosing after the primary votes are over and expect half of the US to support them immediately because they are not Trump. That’s a path to disaster and will also increase the votes going to third-party candidates like RFK, helping Trump even more in the end.

The election is very close; Trump and Biden are separated by less than 2% even after the debate, and replacing Biden could lead to serious consequences and divides in the Democratic Party over a nominee and Biden being forced or pressured into leaving by the media like NYT and CNN less than four months before the General Election.

There is no way that Harris will get 45%, if Biden gets 45%; she is much less popular, at least several percentage points less popular. Most of those people, most Americans, do not know. Newsom leads California; he almost got recalled two years ago by his own partially democrats; he is much more left-leaning than Biden is; people don’t want the US to be like California.
