RT @MT_Anderson: 🇷🇺BSF: NOVOROSSIYSK🇷🇺
0.5m📷 from 25 April 2024. Majority of usual suspects are at the naval piers in Novo. Curiously missing however, are the Karakurt Class vessels (Amur & Tucha) as well as 1x KILO.

@John_A_Ridge: Tanks have better armor than IFVs or APCs. It still makes sense to use tanks in this way to lead a column than an MT-LB.

Valid points by Rob here.

@Vnark @John_A_Ridge: Because they have lost a lot of tanks and armored vehicles, but the point is that none of our tanks are designed primarily to deal with FPVs.

@John_A_Ridge: I think the point is to keep most of the dismounts on the vehicles behind the lead tank.

@John_A_Ridge @Vnark: I literally said this adaptation is not necessarily relevant to us.
