@AlexLuck9: They were putting an EW jammer on as many vehicles as possible before, but smaller devices can only jam a limited number of frequencies. So one giant EW system that can jam a wider range makes sense.

@HintMan: But we also see alot of videos of dismounted infantry and armored vehicles being destroyed by FPVs. I'd argue social media footage doesn't give you a great answer here, but, that the soldiers fighting the war think this makes sense, gives us an indication.
