@RussiaBattleMap: Russia over states their capabilities. If Russia had aircraft with better radars and air-to-air missiles then Ukraine would not have an air force now. If they can’t shoot down Su-27 fighter jets Ukraine flies close to the frontline everyday, F-16s will be harder to shoot down.

@mrmrskitchen @KyivIndependent: The Biden Administration requested $8 billion of direct PDA military aid in that $60 billion aid package. They also have not used any of the $4 billion they currently have since they claimed to stop sending Ukraine new military aid packages in December. It is not just for air defense. It is for everything.
They have more than enough money to send both air defense missiles and cluster munition shells and HIMARS GMLRS rockets and ATACMS to Ukraine for a while, but they refuse to do so. It could help out significantly on the battlefield if Biden sent 100,000 155mm Cluster Munition shells and 150 ATACMS tomorrow. They would still have over 90% of the $4 billion left. Currently, the number 1 need for Ukraine is artillery shells.

@hansenbc1 @KyivIndependent: Because that is what the White House requested from Congress, they originally requested that they would send aid several billions of dollars more to Ukraine than what they have to replenish. They currently have $4 billion of direct military aid which they could send hundreds of thousands of cluster munition shells to Ukraine quickly and still have over 90% of it left.
The priority now is not to replenish cluster munition shells for America, that would take years to replenish those shells, the priority now most importantly is Ukraine, and then when more funding gets past, They can order more shells to replenish. They already have hundreds of thousands of shells to be made would may take several years before new ones are sent or even begin to be replenished. It is an excuse, not to send Ukraine the most important equipment that they need to fight against the Russians. Ammunition is a massive problem for the Ukrainian Forces right now.
Additionally, US had aboit $4 billion of direct military aid left and about $1 billion of replenishment left, they have used the $1 billion of replenishment but did not use $1 billion of military aid. Meaning that they have allocated to replenish $1 billion more than what they have sent to Ukraine.
In the $60 billion package for Ukraine, the replenishment is significantly higher than what America would be sending to Ukraine. The presidential drawdown authority cap for that is about $8 billion. In the $60 billion bill, the replenishment is over $20 billion it’s not even going to Ukraine so in the future we will have more than enough to replenish. And $8 billion is certainly not enough for Ukraine to win or even mount any serious offensives. US gave over $5 billion of PDA military aid to Ukraine in January 2023, now they are requesting $8 billion in PDA for a whole year, and ignoring the $4 billion they have remaining when Ukraine is in a critical situation in the battlefield. Sending 100,000 cluster munitions to Ukraine would not affect America in anyway.

RT @shashj: The absolute gall of this guy. He spent all of Jan/Feb 22 insisting that everyone predicting a Russian invasion was a “warmonger” & “infowarrior”. Undaunted by that, he now appears to have decided that every European official concerned about Russia is part of an elaborate plot.

@hansenbc1 @KyivIndependent: There are many sources for this. This is one on December 14, 2023 in the Pentagon Press Briefing, Major General Pat Ryder confirmed there was $4.4 billion left in Presidential Drawdown Authority, and about $1 Billion left for Replenishment.
US only gave 1 package to Ukraine after December 14, 2023, and it was worth $250 million in PDA. So they have about $4 billion left and around $800 million in replenishments.
You can find this on the US Department of Defense website. It has been stated by officials and reported on multiple times.

@PuncheeBurro @hansenbc1 @KyivIndependent: It is a fact that the Pentagon themselves said that they have $4 billion of aid to send to Ukraine. And for saying that I want Republicans back in office, you probably haven’t seen many of my posts. I’ve called Republicans: Russian agents, traitors to America, and responsible for Ukrainians dying everyday, and said Biden would be much better for Ukraine then Trump who would basically surrender Ukraine.
People can have the view that the Republican controlled House of Representatives is basically doing what Russia wants them to do by completely blocking any aid and also at the same time say that the Biden administration still could use the existing aid they have and that they could send important weapons to win the war like ATACMS in the future, and send more than 31 tanks. Those two positions can be held simultaneously. I don’t want the Republicans in power, and didn’t want it a year ago before they got elected, I don’t trust the party because they’re not for Ukraine. I would much rather have Democrats in control of the Senate, House, and Presidency because then more aid would actually be passed.

@hansenbc1 @KyivIndependent: That’s not true that the Presidential Drawdown Authority has been exhausted they have about $4 billion left, this has been stated multiple times by White House Officals, the Pentagon, and News reports. I linked a Department of Defense source for it. This money is tracked very well, there are independent journalists who keep track of this and there is still $4 billion left. That is a fact.
Just because Biden or the Administration officials now chose not to send anymore aid and ignore the $4 billion existing literally right after claiming that there is $4.4 billion left, does not make that $4 billion magically disappear. It is still there and can be used at any moment.
I have addressed the point about $1 billion in replenishment being used in my previous reply:
“Additionally, US had about $4 billion of direct military aid left and about $1 billion of replenishment left, they have used the $1 billion of replenishment but did not use $1 billion of military aid. Meaning that they have allocated to replenish $1 billion more than what they have sent to Ukraine.”
I have also addressed the points about there being no replenishment extensively in that same previous reply, for multiple reasons: the administration requested that from Congress, it would take multiple years to replenish those shells, sending 100,000 cluster munitions would not weaken or do anything to US, that they are getting over 2x more in replenishment in the new bill than they are requesting in PDA for Ukraine, and that it is extremely urgent on the battlefield, literally Ukrainians soldiers are dying because they can’t get shells.

@PuncheeBurro @hansenbc1 @KyivIndependent: It’s for the fiscal year, did you read the bill? I read every single page of it and added up all the costs. Of course, they can use the $8 billion immediately when they get it. But again, they have $4 billion left which the White House and Pentagon has acknowledged many times.

@PuncheeBurro @hansenbc1 @KyivIndependent: Did you know that the FY23 ended in September 2023 and they still sent Ukraine billions of dollars in presidential drawdown authority in FY 2024? Yes, it can still be allocated after FY 2023, which is what they were doing.
The fiscal year 2023 doesn’t end on December 31st, 2023.
