Russia has launched a single Kh-59 many times throughout the past month, Su-30 holds an odd number of them 3x. Shahed launching platforms also have an odd number 5x

@21aar_show: I think the main problem with Ukraine’s air defense is that they need more Patriot air defense systems because they do not have the ability to intercept Iskander-M or Kinzhal missiles in +90% of the country, and that they need more systems for Shaheds because a lot hit even though it’s a high interception rate, still Russia fires a lot of drones.

If it was 8/10, then only 1 Shahed hits and it’s a 80% interception rate. But if it’s 5x more Shaheds the interception rate is 80% of 50 drones fired, then that means 10 of them hit, and if that happens every day then that means Ukraine could be hit with a ton of Shaheds every month. Ukraine needs much more air defenses for Shaheds still and need to target factories making those Shaheds.

They also need F-16s with well equipped radars and AMRAAMS to help intercept Russian fighter jets across the frontlines.

There is no known additional Patriots being transferred to Ukraine, and it is unknown what F-16s will have

The Russians taking Avdiivka won’t be a big win for them. A big win for them would be Ukraine committing and depleting forces trying to counter attack. Avoiding force depletion should be a priority for UA right now.
