Pentagon confirmed that the US is operating UAVs (presumably MQ-9 Reaper) over Gaza “in support of hostage recovery efforts.”
Pentagon Press Secretary Gen. Ryder said that these UAV flights began after the October 7 attack by Hamas on Israel. He stated that the drones are unarmed.
