RT @walberque: 412 Duma members voted for withdrawing ratification of CTBT on the 1st reading (412-0-0) - so no need for a 2nd or 3rd reading, according to Duma Chairman Volodin. 438 members had signed the bill.

@krakek1: Don't think many observers, at least in the West, have made that conclusion yet and officially it's continuing.

I was pretty blunt on the prospects of the offensive in my articles over a month ago and little has changed on the ground since then.

The discussion on when to draw a line on the Ukrainian offensive and assess it is looming and it will be noisy and heated.

We are nearing a point now where I'd be inclined to call any renewed pushes for subsequent operations.

RT @shashj: Important judgment from Konrad Muzyka here, tho' Russian offensive potential remains quite limited. “Ukraine had the initiative during the summer,” Muzyka said. “Now, the initiative is slowly shifting. It will most likely be the Russians on the offensive.” wsj.com/world/russia-goes-on…
