@pptsapper Yeah, you can see from the footage that they have to cover some pretty open and exposed terrain under UAV observation and artillery fire. This was always going to be difficult.

@gloefflmann Yeah, mine-clearing equipment was one of my concerns before this offensive. This is just one video though, so we can't make too many conclusions.
GeoConfirmed (Twitter)

@chris__759 @JulianRoepcke @EerikMatero is right. Checked this geo twice and the original footage has a zoomed out frame and there you can match every treeline.

RT @Nrg8000: While Ukraine's offensive in Zaporizhia is starting to ramp up, Russia has spent the last 2 months fortifying defensive lines across the entire oblast.
Ive made an interactive map that shows the most recent satellite imagery and these lines.

There's also one more destroyed M2A2 Bradley ODS-SA AFV and two Leopard tanks - one abandoned and one destroyed - that can be seen in the longer version of the video.

The images show at least two mine-rollers. Many of the tanks and Bradley's are likely recoverable, but this is where Russian FPV loitering munitions, UAV-dropped grenades, and Ka-52-launched ATGMs can be an issue. 3/

The first part of the film, with artillery impacting, is about where the blue arrow is on this map by @Black_BirdGroup, which also shows Russian fortifications.

As always when watching these videos I wonder what's going on outside the field of view, in neighboring sectors.

@RALee85:
The video shows additional damaged or destroyed vehicles, including wheeled vehicles. Many of them were not catastrophic kills, which means the crew/dismounts likely survived. 2/ https://t.co/ggKzdi21Lm
