@Blake_Allen13 I don't think MoD units did that much fighting in the city itself, but they took losses on the flanks. It all depends whether you count the flanks and how far they go (e.g. Soledar?). I think that's why we get very different estimates for Bakhmut when officials don't clarify.

Remember, the audience for Prigozhin's comments are domestic. He's trying to criticize the lack of support from the MoD, so he's more likely to exaggerate his own losses than to underestimate them.

Possible that Wagner was sustaining more KIA than WIA as well. We can only make low confidence estimates, but Prigozhin has an incentive to say that the KIA:WIA was worse than it actually was because he's trying to raise pressure on Gerasimov and Shoigu.
