Bizarre that Russia didn't have enough rations for its soldiers for this war, but we've seen plenty of videos of Russian soldiers looting grocery stores and some 2nd Motorized Rifle Division troops in Belgorod reportedly weren't provided meals before the invasion either.
-----------
@KatieBoLillis:
UPDATE: Among the assistance Russia requested of China was prepackaged, nonperishable military food kits, known in the US as “meal, ready-to-eat,” or MREs, according to two sources familiar with the matter. w/ @NatashaBertrand https://t.co/LqPifkGvQh

A fire broke out in the area of central market in Kharkiv. Also what looks like yet another MLRS barrage in the distance.

#Ukraine: We've all seen abandoned or destroyed Russian vehicles with the heavy machine guns quite obviously removed.
Well, here's the answer to where they go: a Ukrainian TDF technical with a newly acquired 6P17 tank-mount NSV HMG in #Poltava.

Surface to air missiles and armored vehicles would be a little surprising, but UAVs and intelligence equipment make more sense. China may have better equipment for fighting a counterinsurgency campaign than Russia, including for targeting purposes.

#NewChinaRussiaScoop – US told allies that Russia requested 5 types of military gear from China, including #SurfaceToAirMissiles. Also #drones, armored vehicles, logistics vehicles & intelligence-related equipment. US did not provide underlying intelligence in cables to allies. https://t.co/ScFbhl93LU
