New interesting Barents Sea PRIP/NAVWARN issued yesterday, active in several windows over the next two weeks.

I think there's a good chance this is for test firings as part of the sea trials for the not-yet commissioned Gorshkov-class FFG Admiral Golovko.

Pilots say that flying it, compared to old Soviet models, is like comparing driving a truck and a Maserati sports car.

@AFVRec_ @LogKa11 The bullet seems to hit the Gopro in this case. But I understand your point it is a generalisation to say all Russian helmets are substandard.

RT @KaptainLOMA: #ВМФ #Russia's naval deployment in the #Mediterranean on the morning of Apr-15, as reported by #OSINT.

The arrival of the Admiral Gorshkov also means the introduction of the #Tsirkon #hypersonic missiles in the Mediterranean.

@wartranslated Tks for your continued translations.
Bakhmut Demon also hints at some success:
'Something has changed, not on a large scale, but we have certain successes and if everything works out, it will be good, but if not, then the decision is up to the command.'

RT @Chiv63: Its been difficult to photograph mission @9thRW U-2s over the winter with dawn to dusk flights and easterly winds. Nice to catch this yesterday returning back to @RAF_Fairford @RAFFFDSpotters . Also nice to see the hangars nearly completed and not a construction site behind. #9RW https://twitter.com/Chiv63/status/1646951869254717459/photo/1

From the Sea of Okhotsk, a Borei-class SSBN can cover most, if not all CONUS targets. If we say 6 MIRVs per missile, that means 96 warheads pr boat.

Chinese SSBNs would have to venture into the Pacific, thus becoming much more vulnerable, iot cover the same targets.

@TerribleMaps Exactly, the reason why is doesn't go down is because the Earth is flat

@compodeth This is only to illustrate the coverage and firepower one Borei-class SSBN has while operating in an area where they are hard to catch.

When looking at the Russian Northern- and Pacific Fleets, one needs to keep in mind that securing the SSBNs is the primary missions.
