@david_lisovtsev @qu84100739 But Iron Dome is used for different purposes. Patriot would be intercepting ballistic missiles that are significantly faster than what Iron Dome intercepts. And Iron Dome is intercepting old unsophisticated rockets, while NASAMS and IRIS-T intercept sophisticated cruise missiles.

@stevefromSC @qu84100739 Patriots are best for ballistic missiles. NASAMS and IRIS-T are good at intercepting cruise missiles. Iron Dome is for slow flying unsophisticated rockets. In Kyiv Iron Dome may only be good for intercepting Iranian Drones and MLRS rockets. But Israel may never give it to Ukraine

Iron Dome’s max speed is 2.2 Mach, and its max altitude is 10,000 meters. It will not intercept Ballistic Missiles going at 6-7 Mach tens of thousands of meters in the air. It’s impossible, and if it could then NATO would use the much cheaper Iron Dome than the $1 Billion Patriot

@Some1BurnerAcct @UkraineRussia2 I’m talking about many years maybe even a decade, long after the war is over. But if Ukraine can get F-16s and F-15s from USA then it’s definitely a possibility to get F-35s. A lot of countries get F-35s even ones that aren’t in NATO.

@MNRobards @UkraineRussia2 Ukraine does use fighter jets on the battlefield near the frontline. Especially in North Kherson when Ukraine used HARM to knockout radars and did 30 airstrikes a day. The reason why Ukraine🇺🇦 could get A-10s is because A-10s will help a lot with air strikes and using Smart Bombs
