Some consistent themes in videos and reports from Russian soldiers:
-Thought they were only taking part in a training exercise
-Poor leadership, particularly from officers
-Not well-informed
-Lack of food and water
-Poor living conditions

@CITeam_en:
This rare video was filmed by a (non-captured) Russian soldier complaining about losses and harsh conditions.

What caught our attention is a claim that they are forced to "sign papers" to be "dismissed retroactively" from the army https://t.co/GqzcSSwVHA

@RogueAdventurer @bjoernen_hj Had the same thought last night.

#Ukraine: The Russian Army apparently lost another BTR-82A near #Sumy yesterday.

There isn't much information about how the Ukrainian military is fighting this war, but it is clear that it has decided trade space for time in the south but not in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and other key cities. The bigger story is the level of popular resistance in Russian speaking areas.
-----------
@billroggio:
1) Implications of the fall of Kherson.
The city of Kherson, with 300,000 people, is the largest to go under Russian control since the war began. The fact that it fell so quickly, with minimal fighting, is troubling and may have dire implications for the UKR govt.
