Not true! @BalletCrypto uses #BIP38 to generate the encrypted private keys separately from the decryption passphrase, and further, it has multicurrency support (all on the same wallet), while having the primary currency Address and QR code printed on front. Never done before! https://t.co/cNoLeZ49v1

That’s precisely the beauty of #BIP38! Using that well proven industry standard, we are able to generate the proper deposit address without ever digitally combining the encrypted private key with the decryption passphrase. It’s elliptic curve cryptography in BIl38; it’s magical. https://t.co/ctVLDnKHh7

This is why we created the @BalletCrypto REAL #Bitcoin wallet. We put the #BIP38 passphrase right on the wallet itself; permanently laser etched — no risk ever of losing fund from forgetting the password! https://t.co/dLBZ6P0UYU

@TheBTCBatman @kickstarter @BalletCrypto @OPENDIME @Tangem Great point. It’s actually all in the #BIP38 standard. So we do need to explain that part better, as it wasn’t made explicitly clear on video. (And I recognize that not everyone will be able to learn the details of BIP38 itself.) I’ll do another video in coming weeks, to clarify.

@TheBTCGame @BalletCrypto I’ll have follow up information to explain it more clearly. The gist of it is just #BIP38

#BIP38 standard allows you to cryptographic verify the generated encrypted private key, so that you know your passphrase can decrypt. Here’s the BIP38 confirmation code for this wallet, available in app: cfrm38VUh2i5qzzCqedWtc8ekFxT3UpcQnfb42JRrLbTWCRTfgVTCXqLp3FYxqiyQDo4D3DyWzY

@mrnonel Our wallet private keys are 2-factor, as in there are 2 components: (1) encrypted private key and (2) decryption passphrase. This is all non-proprietary & Open Standard, implementing #BIP38. So for 1 of these, we put on sticker, and for the other 1, we laser-etch onto steel card.
