@cryptowilson That’s precisely my point: I do NOT think #wiki is #immutable; It’s a private #centralized service. Its owner can make undetectable changes! My point: many people are actually using a controlled #Private #Blockchain & tout it as immutable. It’s NOT! Having a ledger isn’t enough.

The way I think about PoW is the idea of burying the transaction ledger deep underground. Each new block pushes all other blocks further down. In order to reverse any txn that's buried, you have to dig that deep to get to it, which costs A LOT of money because of PoW. #immutable https://t.co/5rZJY4uhMM

In @BBCWorld article above (about Chinese officials faking water test results) the point is: Even if the local government puts water test results into a #Blockchain, these records mean nothing; You’re still trusting the data source! #Immutable & #Decentralization is useless here.
