According to Foresight News, the general Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) protocol, Octra, has successfully raised $4 million in a pre-seed funding round. The round was led by Finality Capital, with participation from Big Brain Holdings, Karatage, Presto, and Builder Capital. Octra is currently in the final stages of development and is set to launch its mainnet next year. Layer leverages Web Assembly to enable developers to write applications in languages like Rust that can run anywhere, including on iPhones.
