This feature enables users to record system audio during meetings and calls by clicking the 'rec' button within the app. Once the recording is completed, it is automatically uploaded to OpenAI's servers for transcription. Unlike other AI meeting assistants, ChatGPT's Record Mode does not require joining the meeting as a participant. Instead, it listens to the Mac's audio locally.
