According to PANews, Hong Kong-based investment management firm MicroBit has launched two virtual asset spot ETFs on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange as of August 21, 2025. The newly listed ETFs are the MicroBit Bitcoin Spot ETF (03430) and the MicroBit Ethereum Spot ETF (03425).
The Ethereum Spot ETF will stake up to 30% of its Ethereum holdings, with the staking returns, after deducting related fees, being reinvested into the fund. According to PANews, MicroBit Bitcoin Spot ETF (HKD code: 3430.HK; USD code: 9430.HK) and MicroBit Ethereum Spot ETF (HKD code: 3425.HK; USD code: 9425.HK) were officially listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on August 21, 2025. The combined initial asset size of these two ETFs reached $220 million, highlighting the strong market interest in virtual assets and investor confidence in Xiaofei Asset Management.
Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, has shown robust performance this year, with the MicroBit Bitcoin Spot ETF's initial asset size surpassing $200 million. Meanwhile, Ethereum has recently become a focal point in the market, with the MicroBit Ethereum Spot ETF's initial subscription amount reaching $20 million.
