On February 11, Jin10 reported that Egypt's House of Representatives held an emergency meeting on February 10 to approve 22 candidates nominated by President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi for cabinet positions, with 13 becoming new ministers. According to Jin10, President Sisi also met with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly to discuss the cabinet reshuffle. The reshuffle includes the appointment of Hussein Issa as Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and involves the creation of new departments and the merging and splitting of existing ones. Notably, a new Ministry of Information has been established, while the Ministry of Local Development and the Ministry of Environment have been merged. Additionally, the department overseeing industrial and transportation affairs has been divided into two separate entities.
